the photos were taken during the past weekend. we stayed in our pj playing around the house and in the temple for half day when the sun was still light and warm.. i carried my camera around while watching my niece and nephews playing together.. we sat on the swing set trying to prove who was going the highest.. we brought breakfast to eat in the temple compound while playing in the playground.. i love capturing their happy faces. they make us adults happy too.. and want to be kids again..
dad is getting much better each week but he still has to go to see the doctor every two week. he needs to move more to cure the painful muscles inside his body... the doctor suggested that if he could run, he should do it.. he looked at the doctor's face as if he was talking in an alien's language, signed and said 'i couldn't even walk, how could i run."..
on sunday morning, after coming back from running with my sister, i saw dad laying down on his bed watching tv.. i asked if he didn't want to go out for a walk. he said 'not today'.. i caught a sign that he didn't want to do it alone. so i convinced him to get up and change his outfit and told him i would walk with him. he agreed and got up cheerfully. i grabbed my camera, carried phun on my right hip and walked to the temple with him.. we walked around the newly-trimmed grassfield, chatting and taking photos.. he looked relaxed and happier than when he was in bed watching tv.. later my sis and py joined us. she carried breakfast for phun and py.. so after walking, we sat eating breakfast together. the sun was a bit stronger but we were under the shade sharing laughs and breakfast.. the grass was green, fresh and soaked. it smelled of the night rain.. everyone had smiles on their face.. it's our perfect sunday morning..
